Refund Policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026
We want you to feel comfortable buying a plan. Here is exactly when you can get your money back, how to ask, and what to expect.
1. Overview
BitMento plans are digital subscriptions that give you access to the Service for a fixed period shown at checkout. Access starts as soon as your payment is confirmed. This policy explains when we refund a payment and how to ask. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
2. Refunds we make automatically or on request, any time
Whatever the date, tell us and we will refund (or, if you prefer, fix) the following:
- Duplicate payments — you were charged more than once for the same plan.
- Payment taken, plan not activated — your payment was debited but your plan did not start and we cannot activate it.
- Wrong amount — you were charged an amount different from the price and discount shown at checkout.
- Our error or an extended outage — a fault on our side prevented you from using a paid plan for a substantial part of it and we could not resolve it.
3. Change-of-mind refunds: 7 days
If you simply decide a plan is not for you, you may request a full refund of the amount you paid within 7 days of the payment date, provided that you have not claimed a certificate on that plan and your account has not been suspended for breaching the Terms.
After 7 days, payments are not refundable except in the cases listed above or where the law requires otherwise.
4. What is not refundable
- Requests made after 7 days for change of mind, or for part of an unused period of a plan.
- Plans that cost you nothing — for example access granted by a promo code or by an institution or college cohort code.
- Accounts suspended or terminated for breaching the Terms, including cheating on graded practice.
- Dissatisfaction with a result, exam outcome or job outcome. We do not guarantee any such outcome.
- Any discount or credit — a refund covers only the amount you actually paid.
5. How to request a refund
Email support@bitmento.com from the address on your BitMento account with the subject “Refund request” and include:
- the email address or username of your account;
- the Razorpay order ID or payment ID, and the date and amount of the payment (you will find these in your payment receipt or bank message); and
- a short note on why you are asking.
Please contact us before raising a dispute or chargeback with your bank — we can usually resolve things faster directly.
6. What happens next and how long it takes
We aim to review every request within 5 business days and will tell you whether it is approved. Approved refunds are sent through Razorpay to the original payment method. Banks and payment networks usually take 5–7 business days after we approve to show the money, and sometimes longer. We cannot speed up your bank’s processing, but we can share the refund reference to help you trace it.
When a refund is approved, the paid access that payment gave you ends, and any certificate issued on that plan may be withdrawn.
7. Cancelling a plan
Plans do not renew automatically unless the plan is expressly described as recurring when you buy it, so there is nothing to cancel to avoid a future charge. A plan simply ends when its period ends. If a plan is described as recurring, you can stop renewal at any time before the next charge and keep access until the end of the paid period.
8. Changes to this policy and contact
We may update this policy; the version in force when you pay is the one that applies to that payment. Questions about refunds: support@bitmento.com. BitMento, Goa, India.
